Why Movement?
Establishing a yoga and mindfulness practice supports counseling and other treatment methods in order to establish a resilient and stable path to recovery. The work will teach students to develop a mindful movement practice and become more in-tune with their bodies and mind. The sessions will empower a path of self-love and a lifelong practice.
+ Provide meditation, accessible yoga flow & breathing techniques for individuals in recovery from an eating disorder or other mental health disorders

+ Sessions tailored purposefully to individual needs

Yoga saved my life.
Literally.
If it weren't for yoga, I would not be where I am today. Through my own experience with my eating disorder and having yoga as the path to reconnect with my truth and re-learn how to accept and love myself, I want to empower others to do the same.
